Emerging Library Advocates

Calling all Young Professionals! If you support the library, we want you!
The Emerging Library Advocates (ELA) is a group of people connected by a desire to support libraries. By joining ELA, members contribute to the success of the St. Charles City-County Library Foundation, which provides funding for library programs such as the Every Child Ready to Read early literacy initiative and the Books to You homebound program.
What Makes an Advocate
Emerging Library Advocates are young professionals who are community-minded and invested in the success of the St. Charles City-County Library District. Members develop activities and FUNdraising endeavors to support and lead new initiatives for ELA and the Library Foundation. Our advocates love libraries and want to enhance the experience for everyone.
Are You an Advocate?
If you are a library lover, have a desire to contribute to our local libraries and improve the amenities currently found in libraries throughout
It’s easy to get involved! The ELA meets at local restaurants, bars and other casual environments every other month so even those with a busy schedule can take part. If you are committed to our community and want to make a difference, join us! Choose to make an impact on the libraries in our community. We want your help!
